The Department of English has organized a workshop titled “Finding Your Research Path in Linguistics”. The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Osama Omari, aims at making the graduate students at the department more aware of the standard methods of research in theoretical and experimental linguistics. Part of the goal was also to provide students with some tips and strategies in how to write a good thesis proposal, especially as many of them are about to start working on their thesis research. It is worth mentioning here that this session is part of a continuous series of workshops organized by the department to support the academic and professional success of its students.
