Today, we reap the rewards of years of achievement and success at the Faculty of Arts, which was established alongside the university inauguration in 1976 in the city of Irbid. 

I had the privilege of joining Yarmouk University family in 2001 when the Department of Geography was established.  In 2017, I was given the honor of serving the university as the faculty dean.

 With the assistance of the faculty qualified staff, we have been working on improving the college to achieve leadership in literary studies, humanities and social sciences, as well as contributing to the building of society.

The faculty is deeply committed to achieving distinction among local, national and international counterparts via constant development of education and quality assurance. We seek to achieve excellence in education, research, and community-based services to prepare graduates who to be leaders in their fields and able to meet the market requirements.
