About the department
The Department of Humanitarian Service Courses was established in the year 2017, due to the need to provide an academic and administrative umbrella concerned with offering a group of humanitarian service courses, which are known as the university’s elective requirements. At the time of its establishment, the department was based in the College of Archeology and Anthropology, and at the beginning of the 2021/2022 academic year, this department became part of From the College of Arts, this department does not grant any academic degree in any of the academic disciplines, but it offers and teaches a number of elective courses at the university, in addition to the optional and compulsory courses in the College of Arts in line with the study plans for the various academic specializations for the bachelor’s level at Yarmouk University. In line with the academic accreditation standards of universities in Jordan.
Vision
The Department of Human Service Courses focuses on working to provide the student with elective courses with added value for the cognitive, intellectual, research, behavioral and administrative fields, by offering a number of elective courses at the university level and elective and compulsory courses at the college level, which aim as a whole to develop the students’ various skills and abilities.
